This post is going to be something different from what I usually post. But I hope you like it!
So in Amsterdam everywhere chalk drawings of turtles have been showing up, along with the hashtag #plasticbende. If you don't speak dutch, it roughly translates to 'Plastic Gang' and I obviously wanted to learn more. I am a member of the WWF ranger club and often join in with their actions. I saw that it was a concept of the WWF raising awareness for the plastic in the ocean. So I started my own action on their website. I will be asking friends and family members ( and you.) to make a donation. The money raised will be used for cleaner oceans and saving the turtles. I really hope you will donate since it means a lot to me.
You can donate via the QR code:
Via the website: https://www.plasticbende.nl/theevergreen
Or by messaging: BENDE evergreen to 4333, although I am not sure if it will work outside of the Netherlands.
Do beware that the website is in dutch.
