Shopping

In today's post, I will be giving tips on eco-friendly shopping. So today I took a trip to the supermarket and decided to document all the ways in which I made my trip eco-friendly.

I biked to the supermarket which is an easy way to reduce your CO2 footprint. When in the supermarket I looked for alternatives to plastic-wrapped food. If you spend a little more time looking around you can often find a paper or zero waste alternative. Use your own bags! I took some small mesh bags with me for fruit and vegetables. You can also bring a bag for bread. Many supermarkets let you use your own bags.  This one seems obvious but can quickly be forgotten while shopping, I was looking for a small notebook and I managed to find one made out of recycled paper, isn't that great! I paid with my biodegradable Triodos bank card. (comment down below if you would like a blog post on my eco-friendly bank.)

Hope this helps! Comment your tips below.
