Good News

Scientists have found a new enzyme in composted leaves that could possibly change the world of recycling forever...
But first of all, what is an enzyme? Enzymes are molecules that speed up the process of a chemical reaction. So it speeds up the process of recycling. It would cause 4% of what it now costs. I am not going to get into the science, for my information check out their paper. Click Here

Bad news

As we already know it's not looking good for the glaciers. But did you know that the Denman glacier has retreated 3 MILES in the last 22 years? The Denman glacier is located in east Antarctica. They think the melting has the potential to raise the global sea level by 5 feet! Scientists are also concerned that due to the shape underneath the ice sheet it has the potential to melt more rapidly.
