Good News
There has been another great win on the road to saving the earth. New data shows that 73% of the energy used in 2019 was renewable power. From for example wind turbines or solar panels. Although in Africa and the middle east renewable energy only accounted for 52 and 26 % of the energy.
Bad News
As most of you know earth week just passed. The first earth week was 50 years ago and we have had many great wins since then. But its no secret that things have been getting worse since then, so what are some of the worst things that have happened? Oceans are getting more acidic and they are also warming up, there are more health risks caused by pollution and chemicals the worsening state of the environment even had a play in the coronavirus, humans keep on using tremendous amounts of oil, lastly, the air has gotten noticeably worse especially in India and China. But don't let the bad news get you down because many good things have also happened.

I attended The People For The Planet summit a few days ago, it was really nice and I learned a lot (You can watch it from the link in my post about it) I was also introduced to many new sustainable brands.
